Password, OAuth, settings, and security
Password Management
Change your password from Settings > Security. For forgotten passwords, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to receive a reset email. Reset links expire after 1 hour for security. We recommend using a strong, unique password.
Google Sign-In
You can sign in with Google by clicking "Continue with Google" on the login page. If your Google email matches an existing account, the accounts are linked automatically. Google sign-in uses industry-standard OAuth 2.0 for security.
Notification Preferences
Customize your notifications from Settings > Notifications. Toggle individual notification types: new reviews, review responses, job bids, messages, equipment inquiries, and marketing communications. SMS notifications are available after opting in with a valid phone number.
Account Security
SubRanker uses httpOnly cookies for session management, bcrypt password hashing, and rate limiting to protect your account. All API communication is encrypted via HTTPS. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication when it becomes available.
