SMS Terms of Service

1. Program Description

SubRanker offers SMS text message notifications to registered platform members. By opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from SubRanker related to your account activity, including but not limited to: new reviews, job bid notifications, alert updates, equipment rental confirmations, and account security notices.

2. Opt-In & Consent

You must explicitly opt in to receive SMS messages by providing your mobile phone number and checking an unchecked consent checkbox in a supported SubRanker web flow, such as account notification settings, a hire project post form, or a public profile phone/contact form. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from SubRanker at the mobile number you provide.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You may receive multiple messages per day depending on review activity, job bids, messages, and other platform events. You can control which notification types trigger SMS messages in your notification settings.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. SubRanker does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging rates. Check your mobile plan for details.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

Replying STOP to any SMS message from SubRanker
Toggling off SMS notifications in your account settings

After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message. You will not receive any further SMS messages unless you opt in again.

7. Supported Carriers

SubRanker SMS messages are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

Your phone number and SMS consent information are stored securely and will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

SubRanker may update these SMS Terms at any time. Continued use of SMS notifications after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
